Our Rescuers in the South

On the way to a scene last night in Ashkelon, more attacks. What choice do we have….we get down on the ground next to our vehicle – we are too far from any building or permanent structure. We breathe.
We listen. We pray. We wait.

We then crack a joke….laugh….relieved for a few moments, we get up and get back to our task.

And then, seconds later, the siren sounds again, and we go through the same exercise.

But this is not an exercise. This is not practice. This is real.
