Opening night took place in the Alfe Menashe conference room. Approximately 20 new volunteers were in attendance along with representatives from the region. Toasts were given by Chanan Malka, Director of Hatzalah Yehuda and Shomron, Eliezer Chisdai, Head Councilman of Alfe Menashe, Gil Moskowitz, MDA Yarkon Regional Director and Itamar Abromovitch, Director of MDA volunteers.
At the end of the evening twenty emergency kits were distributed: 5 ALS (Advanced Life Support) and 15 BLS (Basic Life Support), with the hope that the kits would be put to use for the sole purpose of drills and births.
